Page Fragments

Page fragments are designed, reusable components used to quickly build new pages. Fragments use inline editing to change text and images, and can incorporate Liferay DXP applications for advanced functionality.

Fragment Editor

Developers can create or edit fragments using a professional editor within Liferay DXP. Alternatively, developers can create fragments with their preferred tools and import them into Liferay DXP.

Content Pages

A type of basic page for unstructured content that allows for fast, one-off page creation. This is useful for site pages that don’t need to leverage structured, reusable web content within Liferay DXP.

Display Pages

Use page fragments and content mapping to define how different types of structured web content are displayed on a standalone page. Display pages automatically give web content its own page with a unique URL.

Widget Pages

Build pages by adding and configuring applications through a drag-and-drop interface. Widget pages allow users to mix structured content with Liferay DXP's many applications.

Page Editor

Web Content Display

The Web Content Display application publishes any piece of web content created within Liferay DXP to a page. This application is used to display most of the web content on Liferay DXP sites.
